Engaging with our charter services or using our Service signifies your consent to these Terms. Should you object to any part of these terms, you will be ineligible to access the Service.
2. Service Overview
SteadyGroundHub offers superior yacht charter services, which include, among others:
- Yacht rentals available daily
- Evening cruises to view the sunset
- Company retreats
- Events exclusive to private gatherings
- Yacht charters lasting several days
Our services are contingent on availability and the prevailing weather conditions. The right to change or terminate services at our discretion is reserved.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To arrange a charter, applicants must:
- Be no less than 18 years old
- Supply true and complete details
- Remit the required deposit as outlined in your reservation confirmation
- Consent to these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
Your reservation is only assured subsequent to our receipt of your payment and our issuance of a written confirmation. The provision of service to any individual can be declined at our own discretion.
3.3 Availability
Charter availability is dependent on both the vessel's availability and favorable weather conditions. We will make our utmost attempt to accommodate your preferred scheduling.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All quoted prices are in € and inclusive of relevant taxes, unless stated otherwise. Prices may shift without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% of the total charter cost is required upon booking
- Final Payment: Must be completed 48 hours before the scheduled departure
- Extra charges (if applicable): To be settled after the charter concludes
4.3 Payment Methods
We welcome payments via major credit cards, bank wire transfers, and certified cheques. Our payments are processed using secure, encrypted gateways.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 72 hours before departure: Full reimbursement minus transaction fees
- 24-72 hours prior to departure: 50% reimbursement
- Fewer than 24 hours before departure: No reimbursement available
5.2 Weather Cancellations
In the event of unsafe weather conditions as judged by our captain, we can:
- Propose to reschedule the charter to an alternative date at no extra cost
- Issue a complete refund when rescheduling is impractical
5.3 Mechanical Issues
If your designated yacht faces mechanical issues, we will strive to supply a fitting substitute. If we cannot furnish such an alternative, you will be provided with a full refund.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
We mandate all passengers to:
- Adhere to all instructions given by the crew
- Utilize safety gear as instructed
- Disclose any medical conditions that could affect their security at sea
- Stay within the designated areas aboard the vessel
6.2 Prohibited Items
Certain items are barred from being brought on board:
- Containers made of glass
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or any form of weaponry
- Pets (unless given prior authorization)
6.3 Conduct
Behavior on the charter must be kept courteous and respectful at all times. A charter may be ended earlier than scheduled without refund if a passenger's conduct is deemed unsafe or it interrupts the experience of others.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
Our accountability is confined to the charter costs you've paid. We are not responsible for:
- Personal harm stemming from passenger carelessness
- Loss or damage of personal belongings
- Non-direct, incidental, or penal damages
- Delays dictated by weather or events we cannot influence
7.2 Insurance Coverage
We maintain comprehensive insurance policies covering both the vessels and our operations. Passenger responsibility includes their own travel and personal insurance.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
Participation in our charters signals your recognition that maritime activities come with inherent hazards, and you take personal accountability for your safety and health.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
We retain the authority to adjust itineraries, routes, or timetables in response to weather, security considerations, or operational demands. We will endeavor to ensure comparable alternative experiences are offered.
9. Force Majeure
Occurrences beyond our control, including but not confined to the following, do not hold us accountable for delays, cancellations, or service alterations:
- Extreme weather events
- Environmental catastrophes
- Regulatory enactments
- Harbor shutdowns
- Technical failures
10. Privacy and Data Security
We process your personal data in harmony with our Privacy Policy. Utilizing our services constitutes your agreement to our data collection and usage as per our Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
The content on our website, such as text, images, and logos, is safeguarded by intellectual property laws. Usage, reproduction, or creation of derivatives is prohibited without our expressed consent.
